Our Management Team

My work at the birthing centre, helps to create a protective, secure space for the family-to-be. My strengths are my patience, my presence of mind in difficult situations, my ability to keep a cool head and a calm hand and take responsibility.

As a member of the Executive Board, I value the close collaboration in our highly committed management team and act as the external contact person for the Department of Health of the Canton of Zurich, doctors, strategic partners and advisory and specialist bodies.

I had three of my four children at Geburtshaus Zürcher Oberland and was able to experience the excellent care that the midwives here provide. I gave birth naturally at my own pace and without any interventions. It is important to me, and a source of great joy, to be able to pass on my own experience again and again in my role as a midwife at the birthing centre. I want to help ensure that this service continues to be available to many more birthing mothers and their families.

In my management role, I am responsible for the buildings, the infrastructure and for maintaining important contacts with our marketing and specialist network and with media partners.

It is so important to me in my role as a midwife to be able to patiently support mothers and babies during childbirth and to use my specialist knowledge precisely where it is needed. The birthing centre offers me the calm atmosphere and the time I need to focus my full attention on the birthing mother and her family.

In my management position, I am responsible for the quality of our midwifery care and the personnel management of our team of midwives. I am the contact person for our partner hospitals.

I love the highly varied, multi-faceted work in Geburtshaus Zürcher Oberland. At the birthing centre, I can make a difference for young families while simultaneously utilising my flair for numbers. The interdisciplinary work with my colleagues in the geburtshaus is very fulfilling.

In my management role, I am head of the administrative team and am responsible for finance, human resources, statistics, property management and IT.
